20061120 - maybe it's just me
So turns out i may be heading to Chicago for 1 or 2 days this week. Looking forward to it! Get outta this placee. Not saying it isn't nice...but there isn't much to do here other than chill, slack, eat, school, grocery shop, repeat. Lemme see some skyscrapers for a change. Lemme see some busy streets for a change.
And somethin happened last night :) nahh..nothing kinky. I was lying in bed, ready to fall asleep and i looked outta the window..and saw a single snow flake floating past the window. So i rushed over to the window and saw that it was finally snowing! Even though it lasted probably for about 5 minutes, it was nicee. Looks like weather forecasts ain't all that bad hmm?
Was looking through the pictures on my comp and found this pic me and rui took in taiwan. Ahhh, had a good time amusing ourselves with the awfully high standards of english in taiwan and their weird signs..very much like this;
Okay maybe it's just me...but i do find electrocuting/bombing of fish abiiitt off the mark. Maybe people actually do that but...bomb fish?!?! How you gonna get any flesh outta the fish after bombing it to smitherines?!
Oh and....
David & I at our business school induction quite a long time ago..which we kinda went just for the food. Thought it'd be a FEAST of steak, sausages, pasta..all the good stuff. But turned out to be cake, biscuits and fruit punch (even the punch kinda sucked).
Owelll..and i'm tired of being all alone, even though technically i'm not alone. And sometimes it feels like i'm very alone (eg:sitting here in my room doing this) and this solitary moment makes me want to come back home.
But maybe it's just me being me knowing that holiday's near :) i'll sleep to that!
