it's official, indiana's been hit by a winter storm! and bloomington's not spared. hurhur, it's quite fun actually.

first it was rain. then it was sleet; rain which turns to ice cos it's too darn cold. so yeah, it pelts down on your face! but apparently we have it easy over in bloomington. it's supposed to be the size of pebbles in other areas. hah! imagine that. and after the sleet, it was rain again. but yeah, once the 'rain' passes, we're supposed to get proper snow. a few good inches of it!

just went out for dinner and it's already starting to snow. some say it'd hit 10 inches because that's what's happening to the other areas hit by the storm. cool! my first winter and i'm gonna be in the middle of a winter storm! dunno whether it's enough to be called a blizzard though.
oh yeah, when it was raining, everything just started freezing real fast. like some scene outta 'Day After Tomorrow'.

check this out, a frozen over tree. almost all trees were like this!

plus the exisiting snow on the ground turned to slush when it started to rain. imagine slurpee poured all over the floor then you'll kinda get a rough idea of what it was like. and when they froze over, it was ICE. so yeah, potential back-breaking ice sheets!

yeah but went out with some guys in the dorm for dinner. brave journey k. don't mess with us. even though it was just next door...it was still a decent battle against the elements! all i need now is some cuddling! oh and pineapple tarts of course.
