20070318 - san francisco

i'm back in bloomington! was back on friday but had to crash at my friends place for a few nights cos the dorms didn't open until sunday. good to be back! but..it sucked to be welcomed back by cold weather. though it'd only last a few days...why did it have to be cold on the day we came back?!?!?!?!!?

anyways, san francisco was a blast. the trip was just nice lengthwise. any longer, it'd be boring, any shorter, wouldn't have done certain stuff. like they say, too much of a good thing can be a bad thing. nice place to go once in awhile, but not for too long.

oh yeah, i've got to put this in writing. we travelled to and from the indianapolis airport in a limo. a white one at that. that's called rolling in style.

let's see..first few days were spent travelling the touristy spots (duh) around san francisco itself..before we ventured out of the city. checked out the wineries in napa valley, visited the sandy beaches of monterey, got some bites of seafood, did a fair amount of driving. as an added bonus, weather was good! haven't got all the pics but i've got pictures from ONE of the THREE cameras. and each camera used 2 memory cards. hmm, that's many megabytes of pictures!

err. yeah. there's the sunset! and that's me and charles. dude, you make me look small! but argh, i am small. owell! good things come in small packages.

so now that i'm back, it's time to catch up with everything else. new music, coming&goings of the past week..and sad to say, work&studies. 3 exams coming up this week! BUMMER!

all in all, i had a nice trip. but at the same time, wished a few others were there. like denise & david, my whole family (since my brothers have rarely been beyond thailand, it would be nice if they came!), my tennis friends (what happened to our tennis holiday?!) and of course, beks and the gang. hope that time comes soon!
